The Diggers’ Dispatch
The Diggers’ Dispatch
Welcome to The Diggers Dispatch, the weekly ramblings, match reports, sideline stories and football chaos of Glasnevin FC, lovingly held together by club legend and unofficial philosopher, Digger McGuinness.
Part grassroots football newsletter, part community noticeboard and part emotional support group for coaches standing in sideways rain, The Dispatch captures everything that makes life at Glasnevin FC special. From last-minute winners in Albert College Park to lotto panic, tournament adventures, sideline madness and tales that somehow always involve a missing bib bag or a removed left shoe, this is the heartbeat of the club in red and green.
Results matter, of course. But around here, so do the people behind them — the players, parents, volunteers, coaches and supporters who make Glasnevin FC what it is.
Win, lose or draw, there’s always a story.
