For most of the lads it was their first time to attend a Cup Final and despite the freezing conditions they really enjoy a cracking match which Bohs won on penalties. Thanks to Noel Mooney in the FAI for supplying the tickets for the team.

We also found out a few things about some of the players. Darragh McD is the joker of the team and kept the lads entertained on the bus on the way over to the RDS, although he was a bit quieter on the way back. Not sure if this was due the frost bite or the fact that we were surrounded on the bus by some dodgy looking Bohs supporters.

The biggest surprise was discovering that Padraig is a closet Johnny Logan fan. The highlight for Padraig was Johnny singing Hold Me Now in the pre match entertainment. Padraig continued to sing the song throughout the match and even gave a brief rendition on the bus on the way home despite the hooligans on board.

Padraig says  he developed his love of Johnny from his father who has all of Johnny's vinyls in his record collection. Well done Padraig!!
