Update on Glasnevin FC teams so far this season
Preparations are well under way in Glasnevin Football Club as the new season approaches. Numbers at training have been excellent and both squads are now beginning to take shape. The 1st and 2nd teams have played some friendlies over the last few week and results have been very encouraging as both managers took the opportunity to asses new players.
Glasnevin FC would like to welcome Mark O'Riordan to the club as second team manager. In addition to a wealth of coaching experience Mark also bring with him some quality young players who will be a great addition to the Glasnevin FC
Following last evenings 1st team friendly and 2nd team training session in Albert Dan Daly commented
"I have to say that even apart from our win, last night was a great time to be part of Glasnevin F.C. between the match being on, the training taking place on the side of the pitch, and even more importantly, committee members up watching the goings on. There were a lot of supporters around that must have been thinking 'That's a great club'."
Pre-season training for 1st and 2nd teams will continue at 7:15 every Tuesday and Thursday in Albert College. Contact Dan Daly (0872301674) and Mark O'Riordan (0872208600) for further details.
